Painting Commissions

I do take painting commissions when I can. If you have a project you want to run by me please give me as much information as you can.

1) Don't be vague:
Send me photos, subject idea, size, (anything to help me understand what you want).

2) Don't be desperate:
Give me enough time to do quality work. If you need a painting in a month I most likely will not be able to help you, or I may have to charge you 3 times my normal fee.

3) Don't be anonymous:
I'll need your full name, phone number, email address, and your locantion.

I will turn down a commissions if the deadline is too quick, photo reference too poor, or idea too disagreeable.

All other commissions:
It's difficult to give a per square inch cost. I normally try to figure out how many days it will take me to finish a project, so a 24 x 36 inch painting could be priced at $3,000 to $12,000 depending on the complexity of the project.

Prices: My fees usually range from $1,000 to $30,000 for most commissions.
Sizes: Anywhere from 11x14 inches to large murals
